Blount’s Oregon PowerNow 40V Max cordless chainsaw is battery-powered with a lithium iron battery pack and offers instant starting without a pull cord, powerful cutting with no-fade power, and long runtime, enabling users to work free from the hassles of gasoline or cords. When not in use, the battery pack holds a charge for months at a time.
Equipped with a 14″ bar, the chainsaw can power through logs as large as 10-12 in. For smaller cuts, the chainsaw cuts up to 250 2-3 in. branches on a single charge with the Endurance battery pack. At just under 11 lbs., the chainsaw is lightweight and easily portable. When the saw dulls, you can easily sharpen the saw again with the PowerSharp built-in chain sharpening system, as you simply pull the PowerSharp Lever for 3-5 sec. with the saw running. The saw is sold with either an Endurance or Standard battery pack.

boots, eye and ear protection. An electric chainsaw is by
far the cheaper model to run. Well, I was pleasantly surprised with this
little guy.
